FABULOUS pair of Mid-Century or Hollywood Regency, tall black and gold bulbous lamps, with the perfect sheen!

26″ H to top of lamp, not including hardware, 6″ hardware to very top, so overall lamp is 32″ high (including hardware), 8 1/4″ W
A few nicks, expected with age… felt base.

This is a fantastic Adjustable Asian Lamp, owned by Meatloaf, estimated 1920’s.
I purchased it at Julien’s Auctions.
It is truly special and the detail is amazing… zoom in!
The height ranges from 43-57 to the top of the lamp, not including area post to finial.
It comes with a custom raw silk brown shade, was re-wired a few years ago.
Minimal wear to base, considering the age, it is in wonderful condition.
Provenance will be provided.

Gorgeous framed fabric, hand painted boat scene on silky mohair.
Hand stitched fabric, mounted on raw silk float.
I would guess the painted fabric is from the 20’s. SO pretty!!!

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Ed Colver is an American photographer, best known for his early incredible punk rock photographs.
Colver not only created a visual document of the birth of the hardcore punk in So Cal, from late 1978 to mid-1984, but also he greatly helped in defining the photography style and graphic identity of the American punk movement.
This is one of my favorite of his images.
He has shot photographs for dozens of record labels. His pictures have been featured on more than 500 album covers and include some of the most recognizable and iconic covers of the punk era.
